Eat the Rich (Guest post by Tre and Emma)

I thought I'd post some shots of Lindsay, since she never posts any of herself. This is the "Emma, please stop taking pictures or I'll hurt you"-face, which I think I managed to capture quite nicely on both Tre and Lindsay's faces.

Flowers! Spring! It is amazingly warm and sunny here.

The bread is Fladenbrot (which means flatbread) and can be had at any of the markets. As Tre discovered, it also comes in handy as earmuffs for people who live in cold places like Minnesota. Also, you can see Lindsay and Inga's cool kitchen tile mosaic and chalkboard wall behind him.

While Lindsay was off conferencing with the Fulbrighters, Tre and I went to Sansouci, where the Kaiser used to stay. You will have to ask Tre which Kaiser, because I'm a really bad German major.

It's been a beautiful week in Berlin! The sun is shining, the crocuses are blooming, people are kissing on Pariser Platz... Thanks to Lindsay, the infamous Jorgensen-sponsored Luftmatrasse (thank you Sarah and Marty!) and our 25-Euro week cards for the U-Bahn, Tre and I have been exploring the city, eating approximately 17 meals per day, and replenishing our less-chic American wardrobes courtesy of H&M.

We have also eaten approximately 17 meals a day. Did I mention that?

We love Europe a lot. And Lindsay.
